The Risk Of Being Undervalued.

james-bak-221748I notice that most of us have a somewhat blurry view of our most valuable asset – our reputation. If you consider that your reputation sets the expectations of what you can accomplish and how you will do it, you will realize that these expectations will also be somewhat blurry. You will be at risk of being undervalued, and you won’t attract new clients or projects in a way that you could. You might even stagnate in your professional life.

You can’t just opt out of having a reputation; it’s how people perceive your work and your actions. You should take ownership of it as the most critical part of your professional life.  You need to know what it looks like in every part if you want to have the power to influence and grow it.
