Why Your Reputation Is More Important Than Your Resumé.

pexels-photoToday I see how people without traditional formal training in their specific area can become key players. They are great at what they are doing and are measured by their reputation rather than by their CV. They have a natural curiosity and a focus on what they can accomplish and their reputation highlights these expectations. As Apple puts it: “You are amazing. We should talk”

Of course, formal training is crucial for some jobs and I absolutely prefer to fly with a trained pilot. But, reputation is built on performance which indicates how you use ALL your capabilities. To me that’s the best and most effective way to be measured since your resumé simply won’t do the job any more.
